1964 Vee Jay Records, 12 inch, 33 1/3 RPM Stereo LP, Cat. #VJSR 1047 , First Pressing, Black Label with Silver Print, Rainbow Outer Ring and Oval VeeJay Logo at top. Featuring: Dee Clark. Titled: "The BEST of DEE CLARK". Song Titles Include: Nobody But Me, Hey Little Girl, Just Keep It Up, Portrait Of My Love, How About That, Blues Get Off Of My Shoulder, Raindrops, Your Friends, If It Wasn't For Love, You're Lookin' Good, When I'll Call On You and The Time Has Come.

If you're not familiar with this artist/Title, here's some additional information: "Dee Clark was one of the most adaptable R&B vocalists of the '50s and early '60s, as this 25-song reissue shows. He did songs in a Little Richard mode, an Afro-Latin setting, and also performed ballads, and covers. Clark's gem was "Raindrops," a song with enough drama, hooks, and appeal to nearly top both the pop and R&B charts. It was his biggest hit, but not his only fine number. There are many cuts, such as "Nobody but You," "Just Keep It Up," and "Hey Little Girl," that equal or even top the tune that made him famous".

The Vinyl is Near Mint (9-9.5 of 10) in condition. With Plain Paper Inner Sleeve. The cover is very nice. The shrink is intact and in excellent condition The only issue to report: some very slight corner softening. Nothing serious on this 45 year old LP (Nearly impossible to find in STEREO!).
