Extremely rare 1st pressing of this masterpiece.

Housed within iconic, textured Dress Cover sleeve.

I am primarily a classical record dealer. My job of work is selling records – both online and at record fairs. I tend to grade records conservatively as classical collectors are often more fastidious than rock and pop collectors.

I try not to use hyperbole to sell records, I hope that images, accurate grading and my reputation do that for me. I have 100% positive feedback and am proud to say that, in my years of selling records on eBay I have never received negative or neutral feedback.

GRADING

SLEEVE: VG

The fragile textured single sleeve is in fine condition. There are no tears or splits, no staining or serious damage.

There is some rubbing to the edges but this is relatively minimal when the fragility of the sleeve is taken into account. The sleeve shows a little bobbling as it has been kept in a slightly undersized plastic outer sleeve for the past 50 years.

RECORD: VG

The record shows numerous light surface marks / scuffs. There are no feelable scratches or marks. I have listened to the record in full. Although there is some slight surface noise this is not often audible, and when it is, is not overpowering. There are no loud ticks or click and no repetitive pops. A genuinely great listen, more EX than VG. There is a little light crackle to the last song of side 2.

The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine’s system:

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

Records are sent in dedicated cruciform mailers strengthened with high quality stiffeners.                                                                                                                                                         

Records are always removed from sleeves.

Buyers can combine postage to include as many LPs as they wish.
