60's at the Beeb 15LP Rare Radio Broadcast Set Volume I (1963-66) and II (67-69) EX/EX Beatles, Stones, Who, Zeppelin, Kinks, Bowie...

Alright, this is a crazy rare radio broadcast set that has pretty much disappeared from auctions. Popsike lists 18 sales ever. 200 songs, 15 hours of vintage BBC recordings in the highest fidelity. My impression is that someone got this, recorded it to cassette for personal use, and then stocked it away for 30 years. Vinyl is NM/EX.

This is Westwood One's extensive radio documentary special on the early rock and psych UK origins, originally broadcast in May and June of 1987. This was a curated BBC rock music program from the 1960's and hosted by Andy Peebles. With a few exceptions, complete performances of songs are represented (many of which never officially released), along with interview segments from the original transmissions and a few newly recorded reflections from the artists.  It uniformly sounds EXCELLENT on vinyl.

These are the live performances of these versions specifically for the BBC along with the interviews (and old 80's commercials) which were mailed out to select radio stations. 

This 15 LP set is in two volumes. Part 1 consists of 7 records / 14 sides covering basically 1963-1966. Part 2 consists of 8 records / 16 sides covering 1967 - 1969. Both sets have commercials and local break grooves. Almost 200 live cuts plus interviews!!!

Both sets include the original mailing box, and the song lists. The original owner looks like he made some custom cassettes of these and has written the LP sides and the cassette breaks on the set lists.

The records came in individual plastic inner sleeves, no outer covers, but will be packed carefully with extra support between every few discs. All the records are sonically sound and I grade them as EX condition.
That said, I wish to point out that like most radio shows, they were not manufactured from the highest grade vinyl...but sound REALLY nice on my set up.
