COMMENT... OVER THE YEARS THIS ALBUM HAS STEADILY BECOME A MINOR COLLECTABLE PARTLY BECAUSE IT BELONGS TO THAT MID TO LATE 60's BLACK SILVER FONTANA LABEL COLLECTING THING!, PARTLY BECAUSE IT IS BECOMING QUITE A RARITY THESE DAYS AND PARTLY BECAUSE IT FEATURES A PRE GENESIS PHIL COLLINS!. BUT HERE WE HAVE AN UNUSUAL VERSION THAT DIFFER'S FROM THE STANDARD ISSUE AS IT HAS A WHITE FRONT COVER WITH BLACK PRINT INSTEAD OF THE MORE USUAL BLACK COVER AND IT HAS A PRINTED CENTRE "STAINED GLASS WINDOW" BUT THE RECORD AND RECORD LABEL AND THE REST OF THE SLEEVE ie. THE REAR COVER & THE MIDDLE OF THE GATE-FOLD ARE IDENTICAL TO THE NORMAL UK ISSUE. COULD IT BE THAT THIS UNUSUAL "ALBINO" VERSION IS A PROTO-TYPE OR A FIRST PROOF SLEEVE? NEVER THE LESS IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION! ... THE SLEEVE IS CLEAN AND SQUARE WITH NO SEAM SPLITS OR WRITING THE ONLY BLEMISH IS A VERY SMALL LIGHT STAIN & A SLIGHT CORNER CREASE ON THE REAR WHICH I'VE TRIED TO SHOW IN THE PHOTO'S. BUT IT DOES STILL RETAIN IT'S ORIGINAL SHEEN!. AS FOR THE RECORD IT IS PRESSED ON ORIGINAL HEAVY THICK UK FONTANA VINYL AND IS IN ABSOLUTELY CLEAN CONDITION WITH JUST ONE SMALL LIGHT SCUFF LINE ONLY SEEN UNDER HARSH LIGHTING!
