60s Garage Psych The Pages 45 Record Iowa Hear it MN Hear: High School & Sugar on the Road (1968) Limited This auction is for a very rare and sought after garage band release from Iowa's "The Pages" on UA-->>> Records (located in Winona, Minnesota) "High School" backed with "Sugar on the Road." This single was released in 1968 and featured Bill Megonigle on drums, Jon James sax & trumpet, Jim Enke on trombone, and of course the groups founding members Jim Hines (guitar), Paul Bezilia (bass), and Rich Michael (keyboards).
This group rocked its way all across the North East and Eastern Iowa ballrooms in the late 60s and early 1970s. This record is simply beautiful! Under a bright light source there are a few little VERY LIGHT surface marks from being placed into a paper sleeve after having been played. This is an investment grade record. Note that there is no writing on the center label. This is a solid VG++ record. If you happen to win this auction and disagree with my grading I will give the winning bidder a full refund upon the records safe return to me.
