Description:Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring a lot of six (6) 12" maxi single discs by PRINCE, seller of over 100 million records worldwide and deceased this date 4/21/16..

Several unique things about this item: Firstly, these discs retain the original shine with no visible imperfections grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took these and put them under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes them less than mint. If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim these records are mint. Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average at least half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. If you want an audio grade of an entire record, no problem, just drop me a note well in advance of the end of auction. You can then assign your own grade based on my comments on what I heard and the GRADING SCALE BELOW!.

Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ than how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment.

Secondly, at the time of this listing no recent past/present offerings on e-bay for this lot! It would be difficult to find these records in this excellent condition somewhere else.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Cover conditions:

1. The future: Corners very slightly worn, a few creased tips. Tiny scuff front upper right corner where a small dime-sized sticker was removed. Some very short crinkles off the edges. Very slight seam wear. No pen/pencil marks, no stickers, no seam splits. Rate the cover close to VG+(excellent)
2. Thieves in the house: Still sealed. Small sticker front upper left corner on the outside of the wrap. Sharp corners. No pen/pencil marks, stickers under the wrap, no seam splits. Rate the cover better than VG+(excellent).
3. New Power generation: A small "made in England" sticker back lower right corner. Corners slightly worn, a few creased tips. Slight seam wear. No pen/pencil marks, no seam splits. Rate the cover close to VG+(excellent).
4. Gett off: Corners very slightly worn, a few creased tips. A small "made in England" sticker front left edge. A small price sticker front upper right corner. No pen/pencil marks, no seam splits. Rate the cover close to VG+(excellent).
5. You got the look: Corners very slightly worn. No pen/pencil marks, no stickers, no seam splits. Rate the cover better than VG+(excellent).
6. I could never take the place of your man: Corners slightly worn. No pen/pencil marks, no stickers, no seam splits. Rate the cover VG+(excellent).

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship a single record in a standard 12.5 x 12.5 x 1 record mailer. Weight with box is 3 pound 1 ounces. Shipping is $4.05 Media Rate (3-4 pounds) + $1.20 box/tape/pack = $5.25.
Alternatively, I can ship in a 14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 3 pound 13 oz. Shipping is $4.05 Media Rate (3-4 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing = $5.75.

This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box. If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.

Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $4.00 This includes delivery confirmation which enables you to track shipping of your package online.
