"Slipping Through My Fingers" is a song written by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson and recorded by Swedish pop group ABBA from their 1981 album, The Visitors, with lead vocals by Agnetha Fältskog. The song is about a mother's regret at how quickly her daughter is growing up, and the lack of time they have spent together, as the girl goes to school.
The inspiration for the song was Ulvaeus' and Fältskog's daughter, Linda Ulvaeus, who was seven at the time the song was written.
The song was only released as a single in Japan (Discomate, 1981), where it was a red vinyl promo single for The Coca-Cola Company with nothing on the b-side except of a printed picture of the group. An album with the same name and a similar looking cover was also released in Japan. This is one of a series of records given away in 1981 by Coca-Cola in Japan. A single sided picture disc single were available from five artists. The artists were ABBA, Crystal King, The Doobie Brothers, The Nolans and Junko Mihara.

Arrival is the fourth studio album by the Swedish pop group ABBA. It was originally released in Sweden on October 11, 1976 by Polar Music. Recording sessions began in August 1975 and continued until September 1976. The album was recorded at Metronome and Glen studios in Stockholm, Sweden. Arrival was first released on CD in 1984. The album has been reissued in digitally remastered form a total of four times; first in 1997, then in 2001, 2005 as part of The Complete Studio Recordings box set, and again in 2006 (as a special Deluxe Edition). Upon its original 1976 release, "Fernando", released as a single earlier the same year, did not appear on Arrival, but it was included on the Australian and New Zealand versions. "Fernando" remained unreleased on Arrival until the first remastered issue in 1997. The album also contains three of the group's biggest hits, "Dancing Queen", "Money, Money, Money" and "Knowing Me, Knowing You". The helicopter used for the album art is a Bell 47. Arrival was the best-selling album of 1977 in the United Kingdom. In April 1977, the album was certified gold by the RIAA.

ABBA: The Album is the fifth studio album by the Swedish pop band ABBA. It was released on 12 December 1977. The album was released in conjunction with ABBA: The Movie, with several of the songs featured in the film. The Album featured longer tracks, more complex structures, and lyrics that aspired to be more than just words that fit the melody.
The album contained the singles "Take a Chance on Me", "The Name of the Game", and "Thank You for the Music" which has been called ABBA's "goodbye" song even though it was released five years before the band officially broke up. It also features the song "Hole In Your Soul", which was performed as the last song at many ABBA concerts, including their final 1979 tour, and two other songs, "One Man, One Woman" and "I'm a Marionette".
The album offers three songs from ABBA's mini-musical "The Girl With The Golden Hair". These songs are "Thank You for the Music", "I Wonder (Departure)" and "I'm a Marionette".

ABBA Greatest Hits Vol. 2 is a compilation album by Swedish pop group ABBA, released in October 1979 to coincide with their tour of North America and Europe (taking place between September and November 1979). It was ABBA's second chart-topping album of the year, the first being Voulez-Vous, and contained the brand new single "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)", recorded in August 1979.
A round-up of ABBA’s hits since their first compilation album (released in 1975), the album exclusively included material recorded between the years 1976 and 1979 (albums Arrival, The Album and Voulez-Vous plus non-album single "Summer Night City") - with one exception, "Rock Me" from 1975 album ABBA, issued as a single and became a top 5 hit in Australia and New Zealand after the release of the band's first hits package Greatest Hits and also part of the set list on the 1979 world tour.
"Angeleyes" was included primarily due to its success as a single in the UK, where it was the lead track of a double A-side with "Voulez-Vous". Elsewhere, "Voulez-Vous" had been the A-side in its own right but it was not included on the album. However, the track "I Wonder (Departure)" was not believed to have been released as a single anywhere, but was featured.
Greatest Hits Vol. 2 received massive commercial success in Japan, selling in excess of 920,000 units on the chart (it was the best-selling album by non-domestic artists at the time, until Michael Jackson's Thriller and the soundtrack of the motion picture Flashdance each sold over 1 million copies in the 1980s).
Greatest Hits Vol. 2 was released on CD in 1983 By Atlantic Records, but was deleted in the mid-1980s.

On the vinyl LP, the audience applause following the end of the "The Way Old Friends Do" continues into the run out groove meaning that it plays continuously if the turntable does not have an auto stop function. On the Cassette version and the subsequent CD re-issues, the applause simply fades out.

Super Trouper is the seventh studio album by Swedish pop group ABBA, first released in 1980.
Led by the international hit "The Winner Takes It All", Super Trouper was the group's sixth chart-topping album in the UK. It was also the best-selling album in Britain for 1980. The previous year's divorce between Björn and Agnetha was explored in "The Winner Takes It All", and the members' lives in Stockholm high society circles coloured the lyrics for "On and On and On". Other well-known songs on the album include the hit single title track "Super Trouper", as well as the electro-dance of "Lay All Your Love on Me".
Probably due to the disco backlash of the time, the album saw ABBA returning to a more straight-forward pop sound, as opposed to the preceding (and noticeably more dance-oriented) Voulez-Vous album.

Album Cover and Title

Super Trouper is a registered trademark owned by Strong Entertainment Lighting, for their brand of followspots, i.e., directional spotlights used to follow a performer on stage. Album cover designer, Rune Söderqvist, decided to use the spotlight theme and photograph the group, surrounded by circus performers, at Piccadilly Circus, London. After discovering that there was a law preventing any entertainers or animals appearing in central London, they instead invited the members of two local circuses to Europa Film Studios, Stockholm to take the photograph there. Several of ABBA's friends were also invited to take part and the following also appear on the cover: Görel Hanser (vice-president of Polar Music who subsequently married the band's photographer Anders Hanser), Berka Bergkvist (another Polar Music employee), Tomas Ledin and Anders Anderson (ABBA's manager's son).
At the same time, Lasse Hallström also filmed scenes that were eventually used in the videos for "Happy New Year" and "Super Trouper" even though the latter had not even been composed at the time.
