Description:Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one a lot of 5 discs from Jimi Hendrix.

Several unique things about this item: Firstly, these discs retain the original shine with some scattered very very light on the Crash Landing disc (the other four discs no visible marks!) grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took these and put them under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes them less than mint. If you're that kind of collector, and after a recent unpleasant experience with a buyer from Malaysia, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim these records are mint. Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average at least half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. (SEE GRADING SCALE BELOW!) I tested these record in three portions on each side, noting only one very light pop on the Axis disc in one spot. 29 of the tests played perfectly fine.

If you want an audio grade of an entire record before bidding, no problem, just drop me a note well in advance of the end of auction. Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment.

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship LPs in 13x13x2 standard record mailers. Weight with box is 3 pound 4 oz. Shipping is $4.22 Media Rate (3-4 pounds) + $1.19 box = $5.41.

Alternatively, I can ship in a 14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 3 pound 11 oz. Shipping is $4.22 Media Rate (3-4 pounds) + $1.85 box/tape/packing = $6.07.
