Description

Rock and Roll EPs.....French.

Rock and Roll 1 (Standard 75 319).

Cover...Front is lovely, back has writing stating date bought, etc. Started to fade so......No. 1 on 29th September 1958 (according to the writing). Also has remnants of a sticker/sellotape at the bottom on the back (not sticky though).

Record plays very nicely except for a skip on Don't be cruel (which is a shame). Overall, graded as VG++ as only crackle on last track. Black Spider Labels look good too. If centres needed then I will happily supply.

Rock and Roll 2 (Standard 75 320).

Cover...Front looks "ok", back has some of top foldover missing so top is split over halfway, but overall looks reasonable.

Record plays ok with crackle at beginning of first side but it gets better. 2nd side has crackly sound at beginning again and has a "stick" on the last song but (to be honest) I reckon that if they were cleaned properly the sound would easily improve. So graded as VG? Black Spider labels look good again.

An "added extra" really but included because it is a different font to the one below.

The one above has small, squat writing on the label. The next one has different (normal) font.

Rock and Roll 2 (Standard 75 320).

Cover... pretty "tatty". Split on all sides (bottom especially) and looks like it may have had sellotape around the edges on the back at one time.

Record plays pretty well considering. Crackles at the beginning of the first side  but then plays well. 2nd side is the same but with a bit more crackle. No jumps so VG++? Black Spider labels look clean.

Rock and Roll 4 (Standard 75 347).

Cover...Writing on both sides and small stickers on too. Slight split at bottom but overall, presentable (As they all are) considering they are 50 years old!!

Record plays well but with the usual slight crackle so, again, VG ish. Black Spider labels look decent.

Rock and Roll 5 (Standard 75 348). Yellow label.

Cover...slight split at back and writing on the back. Also, I don't know if somebody has tried to "clingfilm" it but laminate seems to be a bit "funny"

Record jumps on the first track on side 1 but the rest plays ok. Has quite a bit of crackle but, again, I reckon that if they were cleaned properly they would sound great!!! The yellow label has GL stamped on both sides but looks ok considering.

All 5 of these EPs are hard to find and are all VG or thereabouts.

It will be a shame to see these go so I hope they go to a good home.

Obviously I am no expert when it comes to grading but I have played them all and have described them to the best of my ability. I have a tendency to under grade though.

As EBAY force us into free postage it will indeed be free. They will be sent safely and packed well. Also, plastic covers and white inners will be used to give extra protection.

I have described them as they play on my cheap system so they should play even better on a good one.

GOOD LUCK.

Thanks for looking!!
