I am selling a large collection of vinyl records. If you are looking for a particular artist or title please ask because I have over 1000 records and would like to get them sold at a fair price rather quickly as my inventory space is somewhat limited. If you are interested to see what else is available, please check out my store or email me to see what I have yet to post.
I will combine and reduce postage costs if you buy several records. I put great care into packaging to ensure your record arrives in as advertised condition.

I don't sell records regularly but understand the needs of dedicated record collectors. I know attention to detail is very important to you. I do not play-grade. Visual grading is carried out with care and I tend to grade on the conservative side in order to under-promise and over-deliver.

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask. The records are from a pet/smoke free environment.

RECORD GRADING :

Please note I grade records VISUALLY ONLY, I do not have time to play-grade records. Records are carefully inspected on both sides under strong light and photos of both sides of the record are posted. Visual inspection will show most defects but not all of them as visual inspection is clearly not as thorough as play-grading and some minor audible defects may go undetected. The following criteria are used to describe the condition of the record :

MINT : I never describe a record as mint, no matter how good it looks, unless it is sealed and guaranteed unplayed. Covers may be descibed as mint if there are no blemishes of any kind.

EXCELLENT : The record shows some signs of having been played, but no scratches or other significant blemishes can be detected with the naked eye under strong light. I would expect there to be very little lessening in sound quality. The cover may have very small defects but no tears, rips or significant wear to the edges, and no writing or non-original stickers on them. The record also has what seems to be its original sleeve and extra added poster in unused new-like condition inside. The record is still wrapped in the shrink wrap plastic with a slit to get the record out.

VERY GOOD : The record has obviously been played but I would expect no major deterioration in sound quality, despite a few noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. There is normal shelf wear and tear on the cover or extra items but no major defects such as tears, rips or writing. The record sleeve is enclosed and in its original undamaged condition. The extra poster or bonus insert is still enclosed and free of any rips or pinholes. No shrink wrap plastic on the record.

GOOD : The record has been played so much that the sound quality may have noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and several scratches. The cover and contents suffer from either creases, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, pen/pencil marks, etc. or perhaps even several of these. The sleeve is enclosed but has normal wear and tear with a split or maybe a tear.

FAIR : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and probably displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. There may be many scratches and blemishes. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced in some way. The sleeve is missing.

POOR/BAD : I do not sell records in this condition.
