Description
-4th Coming's mega rare 45 rpm release on the tiny " Alpha " record label out of Hollywood California. We purchased the complete inventory of over 20,000 45's from Frank's Record Shop in Vancouver B.C. when they decided to close down their store back in 1989. Included in that group in new, unplayed condition were many releases of Vancouver, Victoria, Canadian, U.K. and U.S.A. punk, funk, soul, R&B, rock, pop and garage bands. This is one of them.
-The vinyl is in M-, unplayed condtion, the 'A' side label has a delete line, the 'B' side label is M-, see scan.
-We have no information regarding this obscure funk group other than this awesome two sider.
-' The Dead Don't Die Alive ' is a megarare obscure psych / funk recording; The female background singers do a great response to the male lead singer's obsessive concern that 'the dead don't get out alive', very tight band with guitar, drums 'n ' bass, keyboards and a very funky beat, big psych-funk sound, great dance floor record.
-Very few copies of this recording were pressed .' This elusive 45 rpm release appears on many a funk collector's ' Want List'.
