Description

You are bidding on a truly rare and stunning item. This version of the Pixies best of compilation 'Death to the Pixies' released in 1997 is formed of 38 tracks spread over four 10" vinyl discs.The first two discs contain studio tracks and the remaining pair comprise live tracks recorded in Holland. They are housed in a beautiful sturdy box which also contains a stunning gatefold folder which has within it a superb 12 page booklet with a Pixies discography, photos and commentary on the band. The illustration throughout is typical of the high quality of 4AD records output. Each disc comes in its own distinctive sleeve and is also further protected by plain black inner sleeves. All contents, vinyl and sleeves are in MINT condition. None of the discs have ever been played. There is the added bonus of a promotional carrier bag (see photo) which has the words 'Death To The Pixies' on it and the date of release '6th October 1997'. It is very unusual to see these items for sale on ebay so grab the chance of picking up a wonderful piece of music history.
