Our GRADING for pskorst (our sister 78 record ebay name) and us ( bigbillkorst ) is simplified as follows strong V+, V+, strong V, V, weak V, V- and Poor. A strong V+ in my book is going be nearly flawless--or very light flaws--I rarely do a V++--a strong V+ is going be sharp with little to very little wear. A strong V (not +) may have light scratches--nothing significant--no digs here. I suggest trying one of our strong V records or better to get an idea of where my grading is at-- I am very aware of hair cracks, rim chips that affect grooves (and will spot them) and will mention anything that (rule of thumb) you can feel with your finger nail. Luckily my eye sight is good up close so I strive to have very consistent grading. Peter
45RPM Columbia EP 536 (2 record) Louis Armstrong, Satch Plays Fats V+ to strong V+ This circa 1955 record is V+ to strong V+ condition with minor scratches/blemishes/scuffs--looked close at the 4 sides and these are nice--theres very little flaws--a minor scratch on side 1 is the worst I see and that is benign may not even affect play-these are solid . Graded visually. Spindle holes and red labels have light wear--clean labels Will be in the original paper jacket -front is solid--in scan --this is clean--a bottom split starting 1/3 of an inch now but not actually split yet.--The jacket is nice too See photo of sleeve.
