Betty Jean (b/w). Many country stations played this B side as the A side
"Toolie Frollie"..... ....great guitar break. This record is in numerous catalogue sites and books as being first released in 1959..the similar Rivingtons songs were from 1962 and 1963, "pama ooma mow mow" and "the birds the word" by The Trashmen's Surfin Bird in 1964. Critics say The Trashmen's song was taken from a mix of the two Rivington's songs, but truth must then be told that Bobby Lee invented that "ooma mow mow"sound with this great tune in 1959! Go listen to this song on youtube and you will hear proof of the puddin'
PLAY TESTED: Both sides play extremely clean and strong with no surface noise.
(Please do not confuse this super rare original (1959) with the much more common look alike imitations).
