Description

45 "Please Please Me/From Me To You" - The Beatles. Vee Jay #VJ 581. It was the summer of 1963 and both "Please Please Me" and "From Me To You" had been released as singles in the U.S. But had failed to chart. "Beatlemania" was already happening in the U.K. But did not reach America until January of 1964. By then every label was trying to release something by The Beatles. Vee Jay got rights to some of the early Beatles songs and re-released "Please Please Me" with "From Me To You" on the flip-side. This time "Please Please Me" reached #3 on the national charts and "From Me To You" went to # 41. This record is in Excellent condition and the sleeve is brand new. The record has the black label with rainbow on edge and circle around logo.
