Description

45 "Escondido/Surfers Cry" - The Torquays. Gee Gee Cee #8163-A. On the west coast and especially in the Bay Area (San Jose) where I grew up Surfing music was as big as The British Invasion or Motown sound. A local band from San Jose The Torquays had their only hit with a surfing instrumental called "Escondido". The song did not make the national charts but it did locally. Found on a couple of surfing music collection box sets, the record is almost impossible to find on 45. This record is in Excellent condition and the sleeve is brand new. If you're looking for a Pristine copy of this hard to find instrumental, this copy of "Escondido" by The Torquays is it!
