Book Condition Grading.

Mint = As New, As You Would Expect To Purchase From A Bookshop.

Fine = Looks Like New But On Closer Examination Reveals It Is Secondhand.

Very Good = Clean, With A Tight Binding And Clean Pages. May Contain Previous Owners Inscriptions, Bookplates, Light Foxing Or Slight Bumps.

Good = Binding May Be (Though Not Necessarily) Slightly Loose. The Binding Or Boards May Be Marked In Some Way Or Quite Dirty, Corners May Be Bumped, But Overall The Book Looks integral. Hinges May Be A Little Cracked With Some Signs Of Webbing, Foxing.

Poor = Losing Integrity, With Severe Marks And Wear, Possibly A Detached Binding And Pages May Be Marked, Heavy Foxing Or Generally Tatty.

If A Book Condition Has a + Or - Then It Is Somewhere Between Grading. Any Faults Will Be Described As Fully As Possible In The Listing.
