Description
4 white label, single-sided test pressings as follows:-
1) Columbia BC 1002 B-1:-actually, the B side of SAX2490 `Szell Conducts Russian Music`.
2) Columbia LC 3483 A 2-N:-actually, the A side of 33CX1847, the mono version of SAX2490.
3) Columbia LC 3483 B2-N:-the B side of 2).
4) HMV 2 YEA 103-8:-actually, the A side of ASD 358 `Dvorak Cello Concerto`.
All sides have been fully play-tested and are between VG+ and Ex (Goldmine scale); the vinyl is glossy, with no visible or feelable blemishes, save for some wispy `hairlines ` visible under strong light. The stereo sides (only) each have a couple of short `tics`, each sounding 2 or 3 revolutions, but the overall listening experience is of high quality; there is virtually no `crackle` or other general surface noise audible on any of the records.
There are no original covers:-the records will be mailed in fresh cardboard sleeves, along with the original paper/polythene inner sleeves which have some handwritten annotations on them, evidently made at the pressing plant. The labels are in Excellent condition, with no damage or marks other than rubber stampings on the stereo items in the photos; there is barely any spindle wear.
