As many people may already know, I usually end all my items on Sunday nights - and my next set of auctions will STILL end as usual on Sunday 29th April (they will start to be listed during the week!)!!!!  But as I had quite a few extra items of UTMOST RARITY come in to me this week - I decided to do a 'one off' set of listings of Saturday auctions!!!!  So PLEASE NOTE that this auction will end late on Saturday 28th April (NOT Sunday!)!!!!  And there will be some EXTREMELY rare items indeed (see other items) - including LPs and 45s!!!!  Thanks for reading and Good Luck!!!!

 A WORD ABOUT 45s (As I rarely EVER sell them!)

As many of my regular bidders may know - I NEVER usually list 45s (it is usually LPs only!).  And indeed I have plenty of LPs also being listed tonight of the UTMOST rarity!!!!  However, recently I acquired a large collection which included a large amount of 45s (aswell as LPs!), so I have decided to list them anyway!!!!  The 1 previous owner, owned some of them from NEW and some he bought from Record Shops and Record Fairs over the years (mainly in the 1970s).  And most of them are in VERY nice order indeed!!!!  Most importantly, he ONLY bought 45s with their ORIGINAL Company Sleeves (NO re-pros and NO substituitions!) which are all in VERY nice order (NO edge splits, etc).  And in a world where dodgy looking 'Re-pro' Company Sleeves seem to be commonplace - it is now VERY rare indeed to find 1950s & early 1960s 45s ALL with their ORIGINAL 1st Press Company Sleeves!!!!  Some of my 45 listings will be individual and some will be in groups, and ALL are either VERY rare indeed, or VERY desirable (and mostly both!).  Anyway - enough rambling, and ANY questions please ask (as I am not really that familar with the world of 45s & EPs!).  So please take a look at this listing below:-

On offer here is some VERY rare UK releases on the London from the late 1950s - including Eddie Cochran & Others!!!!  ALL ARE ON THE 'TRI CENTRED' LONDON LABEL - AND THE SINGLES EVEN STILL HAVE THEIR ORIGINAL 'DAY OF RELEASE' COMPANY SLEEVES (NOT RE-PROS!) WHICH ARE ALL IN BRILLIANT CONDITION (NOT MINT - BUT VERY DECENT ORDER INDEED!)!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  ALL ARE 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSINGS - AND ALL ARE IN BRILLIANT CONDITION WITH VERY LIGHT PLAY!!!!  Naturally I simply dont have the time to go into great detail on each item - so I will simply list them below, and give a general grading and any comments necessary on each!!!!  PLEASE NOTE - if in any doubt I have DOWNGRADED. 

PLEASE ALSO NOTE - THAT YOU CAN BE 100% CERTAIN THAT ALL THE LABELS ARE IN TOP CONDITION AND ALL THE 'TRI CENTRES' ARE 100% SOLID WITH NO REPAIRS!!!!  ANY PROBLEMS TO THIS EFFECT WILL ALWAYS BE MENTIONED!!!!

1) EDDIE COCHRAN Summertime Blues / Love Again LONDON HL-U 8702 1958 'Tri-Centre' 1st Press + ORIGINAL Company Sleeve!!!!  Record has only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, and retains a SUPERB shine!!!!  Label shows barely ANY play AT ALL and Company Sleeve in VERY nice order!!!!  Record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!

2) FATS DOMINO Whole Lotta Loving / Coquette LONDON HL-P 8759 1958 'Tri Centre' 1st Press + ORIGINAL Company Sleeve!!!!  As said above (in my pre-amble) - the 1 previous owner bought a lot of his records from Record Fairs over the years, and this one although VERY nice indeed (with only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines!) has the VERY faintest evidence of 'cleaning' in some way in the past - as it has a very VERY faint 'shimmer/shine' to it under light (though this is virtually INVISIBLE - except under the most EXTREME light possible!)!!!!  Generally it should grade Very Good++++ if not better - but with the possible suspected 'cleaning' I will only grade the record Very Good+ - though it still plays BRILLIANTLY, looks GREAT and has a VERY decent company sleeve!!!! 

3) MARILYN MONROE I Wanna Be Loved By You / I'm Thru With Love LONDON HLT 8862 1958 'Tri Centre' 1st Press + ORIGINAL Company Sleeve!!!!  Record looks almost MINT and has clearly barely been played AT ALL!!!!  And so VERY rare in this condition!!!!  That said - PLEASE NOTE that there is a 'residue trace' next to one of the 'Tri Centred' prongs, and although it is a simple 'smear' and could be unrelated (as it doesnt look like a definite repair - and could be nail varnish), AND the 'Tri Centre' is 100% strong - a repair to 1 prong cannot be ruled out. Company Sleeve again in VERY nice order!!!!  Record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB RECORD!!!! 

4) NICK TODD Tiger / Twice As Nice LONDON HLD 8902 1958 'Tri Centre' 1st Press + ORIGINAL Company Sleeve!!!!  Record has only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines and retains a SUPERB shine!!!!  It also plays BRILLIANTLY too!!!!  Labels show barely ANY plays and the Company Sleeve in VERY nice order too!!!!  Record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!
