Description
4 Duke Pearson LP albums on the Blue Note label.
All of these records were Used when I bought them around 30 years ago.
I have just played them again and, despite the G+ to VG condition of the record covers, they all sound great, with no clicks, skips or sticking In a groove.
The 4 Duke Pearson Blue Notes include:
Wahoo! BLP 4191 (1965). Sidemen include Donald Byrd (trpt), James Spaulding (as and flute), Joe Henderson ts, Bob Cranshaw, bass and Mickey Roker, drums.
Record condition: VG+ -- Sounds great; there are some surface scratches on Side 2 that I see visually, but just don't hear audibly. VANGELDER stamped in Dead Wax; blurry "ear" on both sides.
Cover condition: G+ -- ring wear; split seam on top seam with masking tape repair; price mark in pen on front cover; stamped name on back cover. Label on Side 2 is faded and has a record store stamp on it.
Sweet Honey Bee BST 84252 (1967). Sidemen include Freddie Hubbard (trpt), James Spaulding (as and flute), Joe Henderson ts, Bob Cranshaw, bass and Mickey Roker, drums.
Record condition: VG+ -- some surface noise, but sounds great. VANGELDER stamped in Dead Wax
Cover condition: VG -- ring wear; no split seams; initials in blue marker pen on front cover.
The Phantom BST 84293 (1968). Sidemen include Bobby Hutcherson (vibes), Jerry Dodgion (flute), Sam Brown (gtr), Bob Cranshaw, bass and Mickey Roker, drums.
Record condition: VG+ -- some surface noise, but sounds great. VANGELDER stamped in Dead Wax.
Cover condition: VG -- ring wear; no split seams; stamped name on back cover.
It Could Only Happen With You BN LA317-G (1974). Sidemen include Flora Purim, Jerry Dodgion (flute), Hermeto Pascoal (flute/gtr), Bob Cranshaw, bass and Mickey Roker, drums.
Record condition: VG+ -- some surface noise, but sounds great. Eck (with a cursive E) hand-etched into Dead Wax.
Cover condition: VG -- cut corner on top right of front cover; ring wear; no split seams.
