Description

This set was first released by Decca in 1939 with a different cover.  This is the equally RARE 1947 REISSUE, IN VERY GOOD CONDITION!
This album is fully titled, The Musical Score Of THE WIZARD OF OZ, lyrics by L.Y. Harburg and music by Harold Arlen. Judy Garland and Victor Young and his Orchestra perform Over The Rainbow, The Jitterbug, Munchkinland Parts 1 and 2, If I Only Had a Brain, If I Only Had a Heart, The Merry Old Land Of Oz and We're Off To See The Wizard. 
The album has moderate to heavy wear along the edges, particularly corners and top/bottom of spine, rub-off of blue color on the spine tape, front and rear boards. Light soiling of front cover image.  VERY CLEAN album interior, with clean paste-on, solidly attached sleeves with no splits.  THE SHELLAC IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, with few light scratches seen over clean grooves, little to no spindle hole wear (suggesting little to no wear), a few very small chips on the shellac edges as is typical (no incursion onto musical grooves).  I'll conservatively grade the shellac in the VG+ to VG++ range (closer overall to VG++).
