Description
Today up for auction is this rare highly sort-after original 3rd press please please me album by the Beatles!!! With the added 33 1/3 only presses for a few weeks before being removed hence the 4th press.
This album is housed in the fragile early Earnest j Day & co. Ltd. Gold n black sleeve, with the original tracing paper emitex inner.
Vinyl
Condition of labels very faint stamp Mark across the PARLOPHONE label on both sides no rips or writing on SIDE 1 but has some marks on SIDE 2!!! has the extra small 33 1/3 speed indicator under the parlophone logo on the left side of both labels.
The vinyl is in v good++ condition on both sides and plays well with just 1 tiny skip on side 2 nice quality mono sound with little age related pops!! There are a few hairline and needle slip marks on both sides but no deep feel-able ones that distract from the listening pleasure all I all a very nice sounding scarce in any condition Lp. This rare album carries early stampers 2G and 1G respectively!

This early 1st gold n black fragile earnest j day & co with the P of photo directly in line with the S from songs, far bottom right Angus mcbean with large MONO font.
Few creases to laminate no unwanted writing or stickers small black markings bottom right by songs corner bumping no splits.
SPINE
Fully legible title few small laminate lifts
REAR
The rear has staining name and address stamped twice top n bottom large split bottom left half way across bit of flip back missing top right edge but all in all nice acceptable condition giving it's age!!
INNER
Original emitex inner tracing paper bag creased corners age related yellowing small side split.
All in all a very nice rare copy 3rd press copy.
Early stampers gold sleeve small extra 33/13 only found on these and 1st and 2nd pressing gold b black copies stereo and mono pressings.
This pressing is the 1st textured yellow n black label with no sold in uk text no recording first published and the small 33 1/3 speed indicator. How many of these have you seen??? Not many only a handful about 200 were pressed? How many have survived?? In my opinion much rarer than the black n gold pressings maybe 50 gold pressings to 1 of these???? This lp will be posted 1st class recorded sent in professional mailer will post worldwide but pls message me for price before you pay so I can amend the invoice accordingly.
