PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Long long extinct reissue pressed around 20 and more years ago --- was only in & out of print seemingly overnight when only 375 numbered copies were issued; #252 of 375 released. This is an analog pressing by the way with true sound to the original issue and not a digital pressing in the way most all reissues are produced in recent times.
Original pressing is impossible in any condition...Legend has it that the owner of A&M (Herbie Alpert of the illustrious Tijuana Brass) was alerted to the pressing and ordered an immediate withdraw of issue. Supposedly the reason was the "satanic" oriented cover art depicting the goats on a grave stone (go figure...) A few copies did manage to get released but only a few so value is well over $1000

Great Jefferson Airplane style band and Very rare album originally released in 1969 on A&M...an original rock sound with powerful female vocals (Adrianne Maurici) and some fine fuzz guitar work...for fans of Jefferson Airplane and psychedelic rock!Furthermore the "fan-man" says:::: This is among the rarest major label American psych releases. It was withdrawn almost immediately after release, once the label discovered that the band's choice of cover art had occult inferences. I would imagine it was the label's anger over this ruse that kept them from re-issuing it with a different cover. Consequently, the only originals to survive were the few that sold prior to the recall. I really love this album, with it's distinctly west coast style, male/female vocal harmony pop/psych, and featuring fuzz guitar and some mild effects. It may come as a surprise that a band that so completely 'nailed' the west coast sound, is actually from Long Is. NY. This is a great record, certainly not heavy metal, but with catchy, well written tunes that you will be humming to yourself for days afterward.

CONDITION: The cover: rated: MINT essentially a paste on over white cardboard backing cover, all in MINT condition, was put away and never played... no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing ... VERY collection worthy ...
The vinyl: Rated: MINT 100% CLEAN all over... play back will not reveal alarming distracting surface problems ... both Sweet Herb labels are clean
