Red Wax LP Record Set: Near Mint. Shiny & glossy surface without hardly any signs of much use at all. Beautiful condition without any sleeve lines or any other distractions. 

Thick Jacket: Near Mint.

Some words on this issue: SAN BUN NO SAN – 3/3: “S/T” (Shadoks) (Sealed). Comes on red wax and thicker than life jacket. Going back to the fall of 1973 Reck and Hige decided to form their own band 3/3, an outfit initially active as a duo until Super Human Crew broke up and bassist Sugita drifted back towards his former comrades of arms. The name the band adhered to itself was inspired by the mini-comic magazine “4/4” published by Kanto and his ??? troupe but since the band operated as a trio was it only a logical move to alter it into 3/3 (Sanbun No San). The newly formed trio performed its first concert on December 13th, 1973 at the Aoyama Tower Hall. 3/3 was a legendary pre-punk outfit that has only recorded one single album, which is by nowadays standards a mega rarity since it was a private release in an edition of a dozen copies. Its members consisted out of Reck (guitar, vocals), Hige (drums) and Sugita (bass). After that Sugita quit the band joined Higo Hiroshi (of later Mirrors fame) the band’s ranks on bass. Their sole recorded artifact was conceived in February 1975 and had all the qualities of a private pressing, being a gloriously home made jacket and ridiculously small pressing quantities.. The band remained active until 1977 and had a few member alterations along the way. In 1977, prior to the band’s demise, joined Ando Atsuki (of later Mirrors fame) as an additional guitar gunslinger. In March of that same year ended all the activities of the band due to Reck and Hige’s move to New York, together with Ikue Mori. Their sound leans close to Reck’s later band Friction but has a more wild primitive psychedelic punk aesthetic attached to it self. Cromagnon like cave man drums, blistering guitar solos and a proto speed punk approach birthed out a whole new sound that would only gel together some 5 years later down the line with the Tokyo Rocker’s movement.
