Description
Now you can own a super rare vintage "Talking Book" complete set of three records featuring "The Wizard Of Oz".....This rare "Set of Three" 1960's records were released by the "Library Of Congress" Record label, and were issued especially for the "Blind".....This "Wizard Of Oz" set was written by "L. Frank Baum" and this rare set was provided by the "U. S. Government" through the "Library Of Congress" and Manufactured by the "American Printing House for the Blind".....Read by "Burt Blackwell" and recorded in 1963......Each record has a printed label on one side, while the flip side has the raised braille printing only.....These records play at 16 & 2/3 speed and are 10-inch records....And all four include a pretty clean and still pretty white plain cover especially made for this type of recordings...Record labels are all clean, and vinyl looks un-played or nearly un-played, but this set is over 50 years old, and probably was "Shuffled Around" a bit before I rescued it many years ago...So a couple of the sides have some lite blems and other lite scuffs here and there from "Old Age"....But the only area of concern is the end of side five, which has a blue scuff which you can still sorta feel but I did not play any of it and is visual grading only...But this is still a very rare "Limited Edition" release of this type of record and could be a great "Wizard Of Oz" record set and still well worth the price !!!!!!!!....I will try to mail multiple buys together, so be sure and check out the other rare "Import and Promo" Albums that I have for sale !!!!
