LP: Anthony Braxton Creative Music Orchestra – RBN----3° K12

Original German pressing on RING RECORDS, 01024/5/6. Three records box-set. 2 records have the orange RING label, 1 record has the blue MOERS MUSIC label. The box was distributed by MOERS MUSIC, it contains 2 inserts:1. a catalogue of the MOERS MUSIC company 2. a small booklet by RING RECORDS with infos concerning the 3 LPs: line-up, order of soli, history of the orchestra etc. Recorded live March,11th 1972, Festival of Chatellerault, France. The box has a weight of ca. 700 Gram, therefore a safe packing will be over 1000 Gram, hence the higher shipping-costs outside Germany.

The 3 records contain the first concert ever by the “Creative Music Orchestra”, in 1972 no record producer was interested in releasing it on record. This is the rare first edition from the late 70ies on the tiny RING RECORDS label, a kind of private pressing without the official LC-code number wich was used in Germany from 1976 onwards.

Condition: I bought the box Whitsun 1979 on the MOERS NEW JAZZ festival, I am the first owner. All 3 records have been played only a few times, they have a shiny surface and play “as new”, mint-.

The box has intact seams/spine and corners with just a hint of slightest shelfwear, the front picture (wich is factory glued on the box) has a little rub at it’s edges,overall mint--. Both inserts are as new, mint-.

Zustand: ich habe die Box selber Pfingsten 1979 auf dem MOERS NEW JAZZ Festival gekauft, bin der Erstbesitzer. Alle 3 LPs wurden von mir nur wenige Male abgespielt, haben eine glänzende Oberfläche und spielen “wie neu”, mint-.

Die Box hat intakte Kanten und Ecken mit nur einer leichten Andeutung von Lagerspuren, das auf der Vorderseite standardmäßig aufgeklebte Bild hat an den Rändern allerleichtesten Abrieb; insgesamt mint--. Beide Beilagen sind neuwertig, mint-.

Alle Platten wurden professionell gereinigt, entweder von mir (Hannl Mikro) oder von den Vorbesitzern (Okki Nokki, Loricraft o.Ä.). Anschließend wurden sie nur wenige Male abgespielt bzw. nur einmal von mir zum Bewerten angehört (komplett oder in Ausschnitten). Optische Bewertung erfolgt in Tageslicht, in normalen Kunstlicht & unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe. Platten kommen mit neuer hochwertiger Innenhülle & in einer Schutzhülle. Bitte beachten: auch prof. gereinigte Platten können einige Staubpartikel haben; “eingefangen” während optischer & akkustischer Bewertung, Fotografieren oder den wenigen Abspielungen der Vorbesitzer.

Grading & Cleaning:

• all records have been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine, either by me (Hannl Mikro) or by the pre-owners (Okki Nokki, Loricraft or the like). After cleaning the records have been played just a few times (or only once by me for playgrading)

• I playgrade each record (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, high-end Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN/ EMT TU-3 SFL (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment)

• I also visually grade cleaned records in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

• only an unplayed record is mint, my highest grading for a used record is mint- . My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

• cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve

• pl. note: even pro cleaned records may have received some dust particles during visual-/play-grading, photographing or few pre-owner playbacks
