Description
Three great old blues records by Lightnin' Hopkins. I'm not really an experienced record seller, so I will describe them as best as I can, as follows. I do not currently have equipment to play them. All covers have their inner paper sleeves.
1. Texas Blues Man: Arhoolie Records, F 1034, stereo. Recorded in Houston Texas December 18, 1967. Record looks visually very nice. I see no flaws, scratches in vinyl at all. Vinyl still glossy; no chips on edges. Cover has some wear to surface and corners, and top edge has split along top for about 4 inches.
2. Soul Blues: Prestige, PR 7377. I'm not sure of the recording date, but back cover notes written September, 1965. Spindle hole has a little wear. Record surface a bit dusty, could use light cleaning. Some very light scratches on the B side, shown in the seventh photo above, none of which can be felt at all with fingertips. Cover has some surface wear and a cut-out (small hole punched in upper left corner).
3. Down Home Blues: Prestige, PR 1086. Not certain of recording date, but back cover notes written July 1964. Record vinyl looks very good, maybe 1 light scratch seen but not felt. Could use a light cleaning. Cover has light surface wear and a cut-out punched in upper right corner.
