Description
3 12" 78 RPMs, 5 sides - 1 of the shellacs is 1-sided. In original RCA album which has a spine notation but no notations on front board, only the RCA logo lower right hand corner.
RARE CANNOT FIND ON THE INTERNET.
Each shellac has a paste-on indicating a "Special Record' from The Gramophone Co, Hayes Middlesex England. I can find this excerpt about the recording from a discography website:
"Victor L-11671 - L-11673 12 inch (30 cm) 33 1/3 RPM discs
In these 1933 sessions, these excerpts from Die Götterdämmerung were recorded on both a 78 RPM album M-188 and also directly onto three 12 inch (30 cm) 33 1/3 RPM Victor Program Transcription discs in album LM-188. For both speeds, two cutting machines were used allowing matrix sides fading out and in."
The album is solidly taped and bound. All shellacs look in excellent condition, with a light scratch or two, I'll grade them VG++
