Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING: USA ~ 1 LP = $5.87 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire. 1969 ORIGINAL Signed by the hand of Johnny Winter in 1969
#26 of 100 numbered ... 100% investment collectible ~ in value will only spiral upwards as time goes by ......................................
A true classic this is one dirty, dangerous, and visionary album
The LEGENDARY Original DEMO-LP release on small Austin, TeXas label "Sonobeat Records" was but a small pressing of 100, then Johnny Winter sold the rights to major label "Imperial Records" for a potential wider release audience. We compared the Sonobeat pressing to the Imperial Records pressing and the Sonobeat issue is superior, the tunes LEAP out of the grooves, very intensely wired....
1969 first pressing by far the rarest and best of Johnny Winter albums ~~ inspired for recognition achieving level as one of the true guitar champion Lp's...
Yes, the Sonobeat pressing remains one of the rarest, by far, '60s pressings from the fertile Texas hotbed of garage, rock & blues recordings ...
This was Winter's first album, recorded in 1968 with a raw trio guitar format burning up the blues rock scene
Although his later Columbia albums brought him worldwide stardom, it was this modest little album that first brought Johnny Winter to the attention of guitar-heads in America. It's also Winter at the beginning of a long career, playing the blues as if his life depended on it, without applying a glimmer of rock commercialism. The standard classics are blowin' away here including "Rollin' and Tumblin'," "I Got Love if You Want It," "Forty-Four," "It's My Own Fault," and "Help Me," with Winter mixing it up with his original Texas sidemen, Red Turner on drums and Tommy Shannon (later of Stevie Ray Vaughan's Double Trouble) on bass. A true classic, this is one dirty, dangerous, and visionary album.
Johnny Winter - Guitar, Harmonica, Mandolin, Vocals

Tommy Shannon - Bass

- The cover: rated: " VG+" while the huge '69 era Johnny Winter signature in blue pen remains EX" (excellent) altogether HIGHLY collectible as an investment artifact; also autographed/signed by the hand of the famous (R.I.P.) guitar slinger ...Over the years, the custom pressed white 'sonobeat' demo cover has naturally aged, though the very large Johnny Winter signature in bold pen remains strong and vivid. See photos; this is the artifact you will receive! Past handling visual; no delete marks, no split seams and no writing = other than guitarist Winter's HUGE (larger than life) signature!
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
