Up for bid are two rare, factory sealed Super Disk audiophile lps. Tiger in the Rain is considered Michael Franks finest. He has the best jazz musicians playing on this disk: Kenny Barron, Ron Carter and David Sanborn are just a few that will be cited here. The tracks include: "Sanpaku," "Jardin Botanico," and of course, Tiger in The Rain." The cover art deserves mention, too. It is of Henri Rousseau's Tropical Storm with Tiger. As the album is sealed the cover is in excellant shape. The second Super Disk is Carly Simon's Boy's in the Trees. It, too, is sealed. The cover here is worth mentioning as well as it is of Carly at her seductive, slinky best. "You Belong to Me," "Devoted to You" and "De Bat (Fly in me Face) are three of the eleven tracks. These disks have been in my collection a very long time, stored upright in a closet dedicated for the purpose. I have open copies of each but am selling these to provide funds to upgrade my turntable/cartridge situation. The disks were originally produced on the Warner's label but remastered by Direct-Disk Labs.
