This is a two record deal! A 1963 white label promo with a factory error! PLUS A crispy MINT- reissue in orginal shrinkwrap!!
First, the MEGA RARE mispress PROMO album,: "The Blues Volume 1" album released in 1963 by Chess Records' Blues label Argo, released LP 4026 (Long Play Mono). Album features original hit songs by Chess music legends Howlin Wolf, Little Walter, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Bo Diddley, Jimmy Witherspoon, Otis Rush and Chuck Berry, GREAT album!
This one is RARE on ARGO and is not only a super scarce WHITE LABEL PROMO, this is a FACTORY ERROR that has TWO side ONE labels. The music on the disc is pressed properly (pen marked label is side one, clean label is side two). Hard to find original pressing and this one may have actually been the FIRST ever pressed! Argo promo with error, search the World over, you won't find another one!!!!
This vinyl rates strong VG, is glossy and clean, has some light marks, has a few small more moderate marks. PLAY TESTED, it plays from start to finish with good sound quality, bright clear sound with some errant popping, no skips or jumps, a very enjoyable listen!

The cover rates FAIR, the front has heavy ring wear with areas where slick is rubbed off, had some color repair done to black, edges/corners have wear and seam splits had old tape removed and were neatly repaired with glue, binder edge only partly readable, back has age discoloration/staining and small tears to slick near edges, has a small pen signature at top. (see all 12 pictures)
*** PLUS, a MINT- re-issue of this same album, cover still in SHRINK, pristine looking disc, plays excellent from start to finish, looks fantastic! (see photo)
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside cover to prevent splits.
