Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one a set of 2LPs by Michael White. Several unique things about this item:  Firstly, these two discs retain the original shine with no visible imperfections (other than a light mark on side 2 track 1 of the Spirit Dance LP) grading by sight in normal room light.  I'm sure if you took these and put them under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes them less than mint.  If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim these records are mint.  Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average better than VG+(excellent) with, perhaps, some scattered very light surface noise.  If you want an audio grade of an entire record, no problem, just drop me a note well in advance of the end of auction.  You can then assign your own grade based on my comments on what I heard and the GRADING SCALE BELOW!. I did take the time to play thru the light mark on the Spirit Dance disc and noted about a dozen very light to light pops.   

Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).

Some seam wear.  Corners slightly/moderately worn, a few creased tips.   Rate the cover VG to VG+(excellent).  You can assign your own grade based on my comments. Artist: Michael White Title: Spirit dance Record: Black vinyl with original shine and a light mark on side 2 track 1 (it yielded about a dozen very light to light pops when I played thru it) grading by sight in normal room light. Labels: Black with orange outer circular border, silver/white print.   No stickers, no pen/pencil marks, a few spindle marks.    Trailing wax: Side 1: "AS 9215A".  Side 2: "AS 9215B". Inner sleeve(s): An ABC Impulse records generic sleeve with some folds.  Cover: Slight general/ring wear.  No stickers, no pen/pencil marks, no seam splits.  This is a gatefold cover (it opens up). Some seam wear.  Corners slightly/moderately worn, a few creased tips.  A 2" crease on the front upper outer corner.  Some short crinkles off the edges.   Rate the cover VG to VG+(excellent).  You can assign your own grade based on my comments. Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship a single record in a standard 12.5 x 12.5 x 1 record mailer.  This is 2 records. Weight with box is 2 pound 1 ounces. Shipping is $3.61 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $1.20 box/tape/pack = $4.81.
Alternatively, I can ship in a  14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 2 pound 6 oz. Shipping is $3.61 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing = $5.31.

This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box.  If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.

Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Media Rate, $4.00 This includes online tracking. Outside U.S., e-mail location to determine S/H costs prior to auction end. 2.   If I approve it, then return the item in the original box within 30 days of receipt by you. 
3.   Provided the item is returned in the same condition as when I mailed it, your bid amount will be refunded.  You are responsible for return shipping.  On sealed items, if you open it, you own it.
