Description
This auction is for a lot of two (2) 78 rpm shellac records from the George Shearing Quintet.
The record on the left plays "For You" on the A-side and "Little White Lies" on the B-side, with recording dates of 7/5/50 and 12/12/49, respectively.
The record on the right plays "I've Never Been in Love Before" (from the musical production of "Guys and Dolls") on the A-side and "Mambo Inn" on the B-side, with a recording date of 3/26/54 for both songs.
Both were produced by M-G-M Records and released in the 1950's.
These records measure 10" in diameter and are in very good condition.
They play very well without any skips, but do contain very light crackling associated with old records.
The photos are of the actual records and sleeves, which are in good condition.
