A Rare piece of History..This is a 78 rpm gramophone record..It should really be in a museum or with a collector who will appreciate and even play it once in a while.Title..Plyta Polska "2 Korpus Polski-Wydzial Dobrobytu Zolnierza..Na Polska Nute Zespol Jazz"..Fabricated(made) in Italy..This is a "La Voce Del Padrone" For those that do not know 2 KORPUS POLSKI translate to Polish II Corps who were part of the forces that took the Monastery at Monte Cassino.My Grandfather was at Monte Cassino and it is quite likely he brought this record back with him from Italy.It is also likely that they would have listened to this very record.I have no idea what songs are on this but I have arranged to listen to the record and I will try and list any songs that I can work out the titles to.It would be lovely to think Adam astons..Czerwone Maki na Monte Cassino 1944..was on this(Red poppies on Monte Cassino.)Polish II Corps (II KP) - a higher association tactical Polish Armed Forces in the West, in the years 1943-1947. In December 1943 transported to Italy. Being composed of the British 8th Army, participated in the Italian campaign.
