Little Roger & The Goosebumps stormed the Parody Hall Of Same with "Stairway To Gilligan's Island" in 1978. This legendary single is quite scarce 44 years later; most of the pressing was recalled because Led Zeppelin had no sense of humor & threatened to sue. 4 decades have mellowed Robert Plant, though, who's been quoted as saying this is his favorite cover version of Stairway To Heaven.
We don't know whether Neil Young has a scornful or tolerant view of Kennedy Girls, Little Roger's takeoff of Cinnamon Girl ("...plenty of money the rest of my life with..."). Although not as notorious as Stairway, it's a rockin' & clever alteration of Neil's classic.
Both 45s will sound terrific on your turntable, jukebox...or put 'em in The Vault!
One pair only...don't miss 'em!
