Description
Two 78's by Ebenezer Calender & his Maringar Band: On Board The Bus To Lumley – Calypso/By Oh By Oh, English Decca WA.2505 (WA = West Africa series). And: The Stolen Chicken/Me Nar Poor Old Man Nor Do Me So; WA.2520; all sides indicated as "Creole" (= broken English). "Palm Wine Music" – Mr. Calender on lead vocal & guitar, with backup vocals/instruments. Unknown dates; I'll guess circa 1956
Excellent M- or E+ condition; except both have store sticker on one side of A. Mansour & Sons in Monrovia, Liberia. They appeared previously un-played, but have some light pressing noise; reflections, lines or specks are from the scanner or camera. Plain sleeves; one is a UK Brunswick company sleeve which hopefully someone can use
