Some good info from DISCOGS:
Zappa intended to release this album with the 'Sgt. Pepper album' pastiche as the cover. This was vetoed and it became the inner spread, with the original inner concept becoming the cover (again a parody of said album, with band members on a yellow background, but a subtlety lost on the censors). By the time this was issued on CD Zappa had more control. His vision for the release was reinstated with the 'Sgt. Pepper' imagery on covers. This was the first Schenkel sleeve design for FZ. Ironically, the original US insert, according to the artist, was actually printed on the same press-run (at Queens Litho) as the Sgt.Pepper insert. Vinyl sleeves may also credit the track correctly labeled 'Lonely Little Girl' as 'It's His Voice On the Radio'.
The Verve cat# system was V=mono & V6=stereo. A '/' was introduced for cover print to indicate content was either mono or stereo (i.e. V/V6) and an 'X' to indicate a further change to content. (The year-earlier release of Zappa "Freak Out!" issues demonstrates this system more clearly). Blue labels indicate earlier pressings to black labels.
There are 'counterfeit' issues of 'WOIIFTM' in circulation. These usually have hand-written matrices (or none) - V6 5045X is one popular example of this, with no visible track separation & Sunset Blvd address (+audio less sharp). Note: Original US V&V65054 do have hand-written matrices.
Censorship: Beyond Zappa's control, MGM censored several tracks on early issues. "Absolutely Free" was edited to remove the word "balling", changing the context. On "Let's Make The Water Turn Black", the line "...I still remember Mama, with her apron and her pad..." was removed as it was thought "pad" referred to a sanitary napkin, rather than 'order pad'. A Lenny Bruce reference in "Harry, You're A Beast" and a spoken segment of "Concentration Moon" referring to The Velvet Underground was also deleted. Zappa later declined to accept an award for the album, stating "I prefer the award be presented to the guy who modified this record, because what you're hearing is more reflective of his work than mine."
This is the censored early version!
I hate to let this go, but I'm forced to unload my vast collections so I offer it up.
hopefully it will go to as good home!

I'm a vinyl collector not a dealer so bid with confidence! I have always treated my records with the most care. None of my original records are less then very good condition and most are in near mint condition. I did collect many used records over the years and also got many from friends that did not treat them so well. Those records will be described in detail as well. All records will be shipped with a protective plastic sleeve, vinyl removed from cover to protect spine during shipping and 12 inch records will be packaged in a LP designed cardboard mailer. 7 inch records will be packaged in comparable cardboard packaging. Only the best for my old records!

My grading:
MINT (M): New in original un-opened packaging, perfect, never played and like new in every way. I probably won't have many of these since all were played at least once & covers moved around for decades.
NEAR MINT (NM): Opened and played very few times, only very minor visual imperfections. Super clean cover.
EXCELLENT (EX): Played lightly and well cared for, a few light scuffs. Cover may have a few creases or imperfections. Still a very clean record and cover.
VERY GOOD (VG): Has scuffs or light scratches and noticeable signs of heavier wear and handling. Cover may have more visible wear, small rips or small seam splits.
GOOD (G): Has many scuffs and scratches, signs of heavy wear and handling. Cover shows obvious marks, creases, rips, tape, seam splits or wear, labels ripped or written on. Basically not cared for. (these records were the ones I purchased used or received from friends).
+/-: If I have a hard time putting either record or cover into a solid grade.
I am happy to offer a refund where the item does not match my description.
Please be aware that I am visually grading my vinyl not play grading.
