First pressing avantgarde psychedelic rock lp: CAPTAIN BEEFHEART - Trout Mask Replica - Straight STS 1053, stereo, Santa Maria pressing, gatefold jacket and custom inner sleeves, lacking the lyric insert. This original pressing has two MISPRINTS: Track A6: 'Moonlight On Vermont' on sleeve, 'Moonlight In Vermont' on label; track D5: 'The Blimp' on sleeve, 'The Blimb (Mousetrapreplica)' on label. Released in 1969. Condition is EX/VG+: glossy vinyl with some scattered soft scuffs, plays EX; one inner has a 3-inch seam split, the other has two more but they've been taped; jacket has moderate cover rubbing, a 2-inc and 1-inch split to bottom seams, rubbing to extremities, 2-inch split to the inner hinge/gatefold.
