1st STAMPER:
Los Chavales de Espana -
SPANISH FIRE –
Mercury PPS 6025 Gatefold -
White-Label Original –
RARE & FINE!
This is one of the early Mercury recording experiments utilizing 35MM film, that many audiophiles today clamor for.
The release features Los Chavales de Espana, a world famous ensemble of eleven musicians, who have come to symbolize the very heart of Spanish music.
Here they play AY AY AY, LA MARCHA DE CADIZ, AMOR, DANZA CASTELLANA, FLAMENCO TWIST, ESCANDALO, NOCHE DE RONDA, and VIVA MADRID, among others.
Recorded by Bob Fine and pressed by George Piros on his favorite lathe p17: This copy’s heavy gatefold cover is without fault (all recording details are shown inside); heavy platter white-label should play near mint.
A vintage stereo LP, worthy of the finest vinyl library.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $14 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
