CONFIRMING THE 1ST ISSUE OF THIS ALBUM
Sleeve is in
GOOD CONDITION
Flipbacks intact, some creasing to the laminated front, tiny bit missing at opening edge. Unlaminated back has age discolourage and a little staining. There is a slight split in both top and bottom seam no doubt caused my record movement within sleeeve.
(Please see photos, actual items.)
Played Back as follows;
There was light crackle on the intro to the track "Not A 2nd Time" . The track "Roll Over Beethoven" has a strange dirty noise and possibly a one word skip in the intro to the track.
There are some surface markings on the Vinyl but above are the only faults I heard
YES THIS ALBUM,LIKE ALL MY BEATLES VINYL,HAS BEEN PLAYED BEFORE LISTING AND LISTED AS I HEAR THE ACTUAL ITEM.NO BOOK OR MAGAZINE LISTING THAT CAN APPLY TO MILLIONS OF RECORDS. THIS IS LISTED TRACK FOR TRACK AS IT PLAYED BACK ON MY HI FI.
PRETTY DARN GOOD FOR AN ORIGIANL USED 1ST PRESS VINYL OF 45 years of age.
Made from the older
"HEAVY" Vinyl
that was made to last.
strangely a PYE inner sleeve
but don't think this is a contract press by them
A FOOT NOTE FOR LESS EXPERIENCED or NEW BEATLES COLLECTORS;
JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE SELLING SOMETHING ON EBAY QUOTES THE WORD "RARE" 99 TIMES OUT OF A 100 THE ITEM IS NOT RARE, THE SELLER MERELY HOPES IT TO BE RARE AND BY USING THE WORD "RARE" HOPE TO SELL IT TO AN INEXPERIENCED COLLECTOR BY HOODWINKING THEM INTO BELIEVEING IT TO BE "RARE". TAKE MY WORD FOR IT I HAVE LISTED OVER 2000 BEATLES ITEMS ON EBAY SINCE I BEGAN TRADING HERE AND USED THE WORD "RARE" ONCE IN ALL THAT TIME. PLEASE DONT BE BELIEVING A BEATLES ITEM TO BE "RARE" JUST BECAUSE A LISTING USES THIS WORD. THE ITEMS THAT TRULY ARE HARD TO FIND DO NOT NEED TO HOODWINK PEOPLE BECAUSE GENUINE BEATLES TRADERS KNOW WHAT IS WHAT. IT IS REALLY BEGINING TO ANNOY ME THOUGH HOW MUCH PEOPLE ARE USING THE WORD "RARE" WHEN INDEED THE ITEM IS NO WHERE NEAR "RARE" "EXTREMELY RARE" "IMMPOSSIBLE TO FIND" ETC ETC.
THANK YOU AND KEEP THE BEATLES ALIVE!
