Welcome, you are bidding on...
1st Issue 1968 Beatle's White Album - LOW NUMBER 0034373
DESCRIPTION & CONDITION: The album cover (ID# APP 101.SC1) was part of the first major block of numbers starting with 26 and running near 590,000 assigned to Bert-Co of Los Angeles, California. It has several water stains, a tear on the inside middle seam, and seam splits that have been quite neatly taped by someone...see photos.
The four (4) color portraits (ID# APP 101.CP1) are first run pictures without the copyright notice. John and Paul are in excellent condition, George has a slight crease at each lower corner, while Ringo has a slight lower left corner crease and a paper clip indentation on upper edge. None of the pictures have any pin holes. No separator sheets are included...see photos.
The album insert poster (ID# APP 101.AP1) is a first run printing as evidenced by the copyright notice. Some wear noticeable at fold lines, small hole(s) noticeable at the two (2) center seam intersections, otherwise no tears and no pin holes are present...see photos.
The two (2) record albums have (ID# APP 101.SR2(c)) labels having the full song title for The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill and having the Capitol logo perimeter print on the Apple sliced side. The labels themselves are in excellent condition while the vinyl shows some scuff marks and light scratches...see photos.
Note: The above mentioned ID#'s are referenced in Bruce Spizer's book "The Beatles on Apple Records."
