THE BEATLES "WHITE ALBUM" 
TOP-LOAD 1968 APPLE SMO 2051/52 ORIGINAL GERMAN

CONDITION;  The records are VG+ overall with a few light scratches that do not look like they will affect play. Labels are in clean VG++ CONDITION, no pen, stickers or tears. Gatefold cover is full laminated and in VG+ condition with some general handling wear and imprint from the discs; otherwise bright otherwise with no writing or stickers.  
The (non-original?) lyrics poster has a stain but the portrait photos are in very good condition; the two black inner sleeves are in more than presentable condition. 
With fairly low embossed-only number 0353006 and bold, embossed The BEATLES title. Some inevitable age yellowing has occurred but is still in great shape. High glossy laminate shine... the small amount of ringwear as to be expected. No writing or marks.

The short-lived original German Apple-Electrola release with SMO 2051/2052 labels is also well regarded in some corners. Listening to midrange heavy tracks like McCartney’s reggae-like “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da”, this top loading seven-digit serial numbered album has a smooth presentation with excellent overall balance. The area where it does not match the best UK pressings is midrange detail and presence, which are lacking on tracks like Lennon’s “Happiness Is A Warm Gun”.
