Description
Up for auction is an Orville LP junior. These guitars were licensed by Gibson for the Japanese market in the late 80s to mid 90s.
The guitar is the just how I purchased it. It’s in very good condition for its age. All I see is a couple of small dings on the body which I tried to capture as best as I could.
The guitar is very lightweight. As light as an SG I own.
The neck profile I would say is between a 50s and 60s. Nowhere as fat as a historic Gibson custom shop. But I would say it’s not as slim as a modern 60s neck you would see on a standard, a tad more beef.
Stock P-90 pickup.
The pickguard may not be original, I don’t know. The tailpiece is an adjustable one. One of the control knobs is a replacement.
The neck is straight and there is no buzz and the action is low.
The guitar comes with a basic gig bag, nothing too fancy.
