A Morrissey 12" Etched Promo of:
"Interesting Drug"
This ultra-rare one sided etched 12" single has the unique
catalogue no. of SPM29 (S.P.M = "Steven Patrick Morrissey")
Barcode and Other Identifiers
Matrix / Runout (Side A, Stamped): SPM 29 A-1U-1-1
Matrix / Runout (Side A, Etched): HOSSCAH! HOSSCAH!
The B-side has a laser etched image of Oscar Wilde holding a Sun Flower
and the text "Motor Cycle Au Pair Boy", (which is also written on the discs black label)
Very Rare UK 1 Track / 1 Sided Promo 12".
Etched on the B side.
Rumour has it, these were pressed to give out to mark Morrisseys 29th Birthday. The catalogue number SPM 29 = Morrisseys initials (Steven Patrick Morrissey) and his age at the time (29). Housed in generic black sleeve.
*Vinyl Condition- Very Good+ with a beautiful shine and showing only minor signs of use (including very light surface marking).
Plays through beautiful with the lovely crisp,clear sound of Morrisseys distinctive vocal.
*Etched side has many marks but these are all surface ones and are not deep at all. Due to this side being a super shiny surface without grooves , these are inevitable for a record 30 years old.Possibly stored out of its cover for a period of time have caused this(?)
* Overall, a fantastic example of this exceptionally rare disc!
