Polymarchs is the name of a mobile DJ collective (or Sonidero) based in Mexico City which plays Electronic dance music. In the early 1980s, Disco music gave way to Hi-NRG and Italo disco which proved to be popular in Mexico City and Polymarchs sought to innovate the dance music scene in Mexico City by booking out large concert halls and sports arenas to host its massive productions. Their early recordings, which includes original tracks and spectacular mixes of songs by huge Hi-NRG and Disco stars of the time and were made in very small quantities by low budget labels, are considered rarities and collector items to this day.
