"London Calling"
This promo single is recognized by its unique catalog number
that was issued in a generic cardboard jacket with a white paper sleeve

MATRIX (RUNOUT):
HAND-ETCHED
Side One: TSS-167155-1B STERLING A T1
Side Two: TSS-167155-1B STERLING A T1
--------- LEGEND: -----------
From what we have gathered,
the Matrix code indicates the following:
TSS = STEREO?
167155 = mastering job number (as well as the catalog number)
1B = tape used (1), and the cutting (B)
the lacquer was cut using the first tape,
it is the "B" cutting made from that tape
(perhaps a slightly different mix or equalization than the "A" cut)
STERLING = STERLING Sound Press
A = for Terre Haute
T1 = FIRST PRESS (first mother from first laquer)
*COLUMBIA Record Pressing Note:
Number following a T indicates the mould, with T1 being the first mould

RECORD GRADING
Our system is based on a conservative
visual and hand inspection
We will note obvious flaws and defects,
supplemented when necessary with additional remarks
in an attempt to give customers an accurate impression
of the visual conditions observed
Regardless of value and age, the grading does not change
WE DO NOT PLAY GRADE
We are unable to play grade the vinyl listings
We do not know how the purchased item will sound when played by the buyer.
We expect the record to have the same play grade as described
in the popular "Record Grading System(s)" available on the Internet

Welcome to our new eBay store where you’ll find a variety of, well…. just about anything! We are just beginning so please bare with us as our store grows! Our inventory consists of items we’ve accumulated for our own home that stems from our passion for vintage merchandise familiar to us from our own childhood, or simply our interest and respect for items from a time past. After 20 some odd years of accumulation through estate, garage, antique and tag sales, we are now ready to let go of some of these treasures and share them with you. We will be adding inventory regularly, so keep checking back to see what we have uncovered in our basement, garage, attic…(well, you get the picture). We hope you enjoy browsing our store as much as we enjoy re-discovering our ‘finds’.
