A beautifully preserved 1979 original pressing of Pink Floyd’s legendary rock opera The Wall, one of the most important and visually iconic albums ever released.
Issued on November 30, 1979, The Wall was largely conceived by Roger Waters as a deeply personal and cinematic concept album exploring isolation, fame, trauma, and emotional barriers. The stark white brick cover and unforgettable gatefold artwork were created by celebrated illustrator Gerald Scarfe, whose surreal imagery became inseparable from the album’s legacy and later the 1982 film adaptation.
This exceptional copy presents with excellent vinyl, retaining deep gloss and flawless really good surfaces. The outer white brick gatefold remains remarkably bright and displayable, still housed in partial original shrink, while the interior Scarfe artwork is bold and vivid.
A major highlight is the included sheet music booklet for “Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)”, along with the original lyric inner sleeve and two highly displayable period Pink Floyd single sleeves for “Run Like Hell” and “Another Brick in the Wall.”
An unusually complete and beautifully curated vintage 2-record set that captures both the musical and visual power of Pink Floyd’s 1979 masterpiece.
