We go to estate sales regularly and come across a wide array of unique and rare items. We add to our growing online inventory daily. We pick up new items from all over the world and all over the US. We have literally thousands of classical albums and hundreds of classical CDs. We just picked up several more hundred albums and CDs and we will begin listing them regularly. Most of what we will be listing are classical music, but there are some musicals, soundtracks and operas among other. Many of the CDs and albums are imports and about half of the albums are radio station promos. We only charge $3.50 shipping for the first CD ($4.50 for the first album) and the rest ship for free (domestic shipping only), no matter how many you purchase.
Now onto the item for sale.
For sale is a Star Wars Original Soundtrack album and a Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back Original Soundtrack album, released in 1977 and 1980 respectively.
Both of these albums are two LPs each and both have gatefold covers with the Empire Strikes Back album having a picture book inside the gatefold.
All four of these albums are in absolutely phenomenal condition. They are all shiny jet black and we saw hardly a scratch on any of them and some with none at all. We'd estimate the eight sides of vinyl to grade EX at a minimum. We prefer to be conservative in our estimates, but some of these sides surely grade mint condition.
All six labels and center holes are in great condition. The labels around the center holes do have some small nicks in them on the Empire Strikes Back album. The covers are in very nice condition with no seam splits, but they show some typical wear from being moved around for almost 40 years, including some minor ring wear. The picture book inside the Empire Strikes Back album is in excellent condition. The sleeves are almost certainly not original, but they are all in great condition.
PLEASE NOTE: We are diehard album collectors and have thousands of them in our collection. We don't do classical music, opera, foreign music, musicals, Broadway plays, or similar genres, so we're beginning to move them out of here. With that said, we do not have anywhere near enough time to play test every album. We do play a ton of rock n roll, southern rock, country, blues, jazz, etc. and have a very good idea of imperfections that will make albums play inconsistently. We will only be visually inspecting the albums and giving our best assessment on condition based on a visual inspection only. Please keep that in mind when deciding to purchase any of our albums. However, if you have ANY problem with your purchase, we will never leave you holding the bag.
These albums will be shipped in an album box via media mail with the USPS. If you purchase more than one album, we may ship it them in a larger box if necessary.
