Description

This is a hard-to-find John Lennon promotional single on the Apple label, Apple P-1883 (PRO-8147), released only to DJs on June 2, 1975. Info on the release can be found on page 189 of Perry Cox's 1999 Official Price Guide to Beatles Records and Memorabilia.The record was never released commercially. Both A and B-sides are the song, " Slippin' and Slidin' ", from Lennon's Rock 'N' Roll album.  The A-side is the record company's usual uncut apple and the B is the usual "sliced" version. The A-side is mono and the B is stereo.  Both sides also have a black star.The record is near-mint and has the appearance of never being played.
