Description

1st press released in September, 1975 with the blue "smoking man" and silver Kiss logo Casablanca labels. I believe the album may have been removed from the shrink at one time to view the gatefold as there is a clean crease on the outer spine (usually a double album that was never removed from its shrink would not have this) HOWEVER I am not 100% certain of this, for all I know it was never removed at all. The front and rear cover is in really great shape with some minor nicks or flaws around the corners/top and bottom edge which is to be expected. Likewise, some of the shrink has torn on the bottom and a little on the side - which again constitutes for the wear I described as the shrink is no longer cover those specific areas. The cover has been very very well taken care of nontheless, in fact I have never seen a nicer copy of the original "non Filmworks/80's Polygram" pressings before this one. Again, this is the first initial pressing with light blue labels. The sleeves have the camel "Casablanca" Record on one side with the Casablanca artist catalogue (up thru Alive!) on the reverse side.  There are two small holes in one of the corners (possibly from a staple) but again it is very small. The booklet is in great shape as well with slight handling on the pages, the colors are vibrant! Both record labels (all four total) are mint condition meaning I do not see any spindle wear, record one is in mint condition and there are two-three light scratches on record two (see pics). I've never played the albums and do know if they were ever played before or if the scratches are from handling them over the course of 42 years when they were pressed. TRULY A VERY HARD AND RARE FIND IN THIS CONDITION. NO RETURNS. All sales are final. US BIDS ONLY. NOT SHIPPING OUTSIDE US

Someone asked if the vinyls are stamped with "RL" as Robert Ludwig ran the first initial pressing of this album. The answer is YES both vinyls are stamped "STERLING" and "RL" on the lead outs. The"RL" initials are very fine, small and the "R" is pointed.
